What To Buy?

Short answer: consider physical space first! Will it fit where you want to put it?

If you don’t print often = Laser
A more expensive laser printer can sit idle for months and has a lower cost per page.

If you print at least once every 2 weeks = Ink Tank
Slightly higher initial cost but huge ink savings!

Ink Tank – Color

The two best are Epson and Canon. I found no evidence that either is better beyond Epson being a bit faster and Canon being better for photo printing. The cheapest options for both are about $150 but about $250+ will get you better quality printing, automatic duplex printing, and an automatic document feeder.
